Gerry - 21 years service
Gerry Perkins retires after 21 years assisting behind the bar. Gerry thanked the members, Sections and the Club for their gifts and "donations" to his retirement fund! He promises to “walk up the hill" occasionally to see how we are getting on and enjoy a drink from the other side of the Bar - Good Luck Gerry !

18th November 2009 – FIREWORKS NIGHT

Sorry for the delay in getting this to you but I was just waiting for the final count for the income.

Fireworks night was a huge success and thanks go to all those who contributed to that success….you know who you are!

Profit on the night, after all expenses was just short of £500

A special word of thanks on behalf of the Club must go to Matt Connor, who didn’t set fire to himself or anyone else, for the organization and to Steve Jennings for providing great food (at very short notice)
