FRAIS HEDDON – HOME & AWAY – PINNER HILL v GRIMSDYKE GC
 
For many years the Club has held the annual Frais Heddon match against Grims Dyke GC - home & away - consisting of a team of 12 men.
 
The format is singles in the morning - played in fourballs, and foursomes in the afternoon. The event provides great competition and forges much camaraderie between the Clubs.
 
Starting with a full breakfast before the singles, a light ploughman’s lunch and then an evening meal with wine, it has to be great value at £36 for the day!
 
The Home Tie is on Saturday 5th June with the trip to Grims Dyke on Saturday 14th August.  It is best if we can field a similar team in both matches but not essential as members do have other commitments.
 
There is a notice posted in the Clubhouse, but any members who are not aware of the event and would like to be considered, please contact the organiser John Culling via the details below.
 
It is really a terrific couple of day’s golf.

We now have a new “Option 27” on the main Club phone line giving you a recorded message of the course playing conditions and other details such as, Number of temporary pins, trolley bans etc.

“Public Day” - Reciprocal golf with Stanmore GC

Stanmore’s Public Days are Monday and Friday whilst Pinner’s are Wednesday and Thursday.

As a benefit to members we have a reciprocal play arrangement for Mondays and Wednesdays whereby Pinner members can play free of charge at Stanmore on Wednesdays and Stanmore members can play here, at Pinner, on Mondays. Bank Holidays are excluded
